Antique Yellow Hebron Beads: African Glass, Graduated Strand, 48 pcWoman Shops World
These yellow vintage glass beads are made in Hebron and they have such a great shape and a large hole! These would be great for stringing on leather/other cords or can be worn as is! The beads vary in size, ranging from about 13x7mm to 22x12mm, with about a 4mm hole.
These beads are strung in a loop on a rafia, the way they are traditionally strung in Africa. You get about 22" of beads, with another 4" of raffia at the top. The total strand is approximately 26" long, with about 48 beads.
These beads are yellow with some shades of brown/gray mixed in as they are vintage and as unique as snowflakes. These beads are old. They do show some chips on some of the edges, and some of the facets are worn down, but this is part of their beauty, and attests to their age.
African beads have such mystery attached to them; they have been worn for decades, travelled continents, and will be around for hundreds of years into the future. Be a part of the mystery and let these beads grace you with their presence.
