Detail & Features
You know those old coins that you see sewn onto the edges and fringes of gypsy goods? Yes, these are those fabulous coins! Old coins dating from 1950-1990 Pakistan, Afghanistan, and Turkey have been soldered with a metal loop at the top. These are absolutely perfect for sewing or stringing onto all of your boho-chic projects.
These amazing coins come from the Kuchi people, a nomadic group of Pashtun people from Afghanistan. The name Kuchi (or Kochi) literally means "migration," and these people lead a nomadic, pastoral lifestyle. That is why the coins come from all over the region.
