Detail & Features
The joy in this beautiful trim makes my heart flutter. This ribbon features men and women performing the traditional Indian folk dance Dandiya Raas (sword dance). The sticks in their hands represent the swords of Goddess Durga, who the dance is performed in honor of.
This pattern is so enchanting, colorful and whimsical! Against a background of gorgeous teal, men and women wearing magenta, cobalt & emerald dance with green dandiyas (swords) in their hands.
I hand-select these beautifully embroidered silk trims from a huge storehouse in India. I'm like a kid in a candy shop over these beauties- the colors are overwhelming!
Traditionally used as Sari borders, but the adornment possibilities are endless! Tablecloth borders, pillowcase borders, jeans trim, belt, jacket trim.....get inspired and create!
