Detail & Features
The aged look and feel of these beads gives them great character. You can feel the positive energy radiating from these incredible beads. Conch shells are believed to be auspicious in both Buddhist and Hindu cultures. In Hindu Mythology, Lakshmi, the Goddess of Wealth, was believed to have used a White Conch Shell as her abode.
The white Conch comes from the Indian Ocean. In its full form, the Conch shell is used during times of prayer, and as a votive to keep away dangers of the sea. Due to its interior spiraling feminine form, it also represents female fertility. It is often used in traditional Indian and Nepali jewelry.
These are made from the inner part of Conch shells. They have been carved into round beads measuring 8mm, then antiqued, so they have a beautifully crackled patina to them. This listing is for 10 loose beads. The holes of these beads measure approximately 1mm. These have beautiful density, and almost a marble-like feel to them.
Why not make your own spiritual jewelry or mala with these powerful beads.
