In Hindu Mythology, Lakshmi, the Goddess of Wealth, was believed to have used a White Conch Shell as her abode. The white Conch comes from the Indian Ocean. In its full form, the Conch shell is used during times of prayer, and as a votive to keep away dangers of the sea. Due to its interior spiraling feminine form, it also represents female fertility. It is often used in traditional Indian and Nepali jewelry.The center of White Conch shells have been carved into rondelle beads measuring approximately 18x14mm. This listing is for 10 pure white loose beads. The holes of these beads measure approximately 3mm. As you can see, some of these beads have grooves and pits of their surface, as they are made from natural shells.
