Detail & Features

These beautiful beads are made from Ostrich Egg Shell in Kenya. They have such a natural feel with their misshapen edges, and aged look and feel. These are great as spacer beads, and give a beautiful earthy look to your jewelry creations. Ostrich egg shells are huge (compared to most eggs that we are familiar with), so the shell is nice and thick.

Due to natural patterning on the egg shells, these beads do have some speckled areas. This adds great texture to the look.

This listing is for one 32 +/-" strand, which is longer than most strands of these beads that you see on the market. There are approximately 390 beads per strand.

These beads could be worn as-is, as they are strung in a completed loop on raffia twine. If you wear them as-is, we don't recommend getting the twine wet as it will degrade the raffia twine.
