These beads are so beautiful, and so real, with a history too. Most of the coral that you find on the market is dyed. That's why it's bright red. These beautiful, completely natural beads are pure, un-dyed natural coral. They come from the Mediterranean Sea. This coral was traded into Yemeni, where the Berber and other nomadic tribes valued coral for its ability to protect and heal.
It is the most beautiful shade of brick red, in a natural branch shape. These beads would make a great additional to earthy, yoga-inspired, natural jewelry.
You can see all of the natural striations, textures, holes, and marks on these beads, making them beautifully organic. The strands are graduated, and the beads range in size from 2x8mm-3x21mm.
Listing is for an 16" strand, approximately 180 beads.
