Detail & FeaturesThese are the largest African brass rings I've ever seen. They are so bold, so beautiful. I believe that these were used as hair rings. These beauties come from Ethiopia. They are stamped on their sides with "eyes" or circles, as you can see in the photos. Some of them are so worn that you can hardly see the eyes, and this is a testament to their history and age.
The size on these varies some, from an outer diameter of about 30mm x 10mm, thick, up to 35x13mm. They make beautiful pendants or focal points on jewelry.
This listing is for 1 ring.
These rings are old, approximately 100 years old. As you can see in the photos, there is some variety in color and wear on their surface. African beads have such mystery attached to them; they have been worn for decades, travelled continents, and will be around for hundreds of years into the future. Be a part of the mystery and let these beads grace you with their presence.
**As many of my products come from Nepal, a portion of my proceeds will be donated to the Unicef and Americares Nepali relief efforts. **
