Such a creamy neutral shade, these beads are perfect to add to your boho or tribal jewelry designs. These are such nice long beads. Hand carved 3.5" hairpipe beads are made in India, from cow bone (cruelty-free) that have been buffed and polished to create a smooth design.

It is pretty unusual to find colored beads this long! These have a nice, slightly larger hole on them (approximately 2.5mm), so they would work great on smaller leather cord or hemp twine.

Bead Size: 6x90mm (approx. 3.5")
Hole Size: 2+mm
Approximate Number of beads: 2
Strand Length: 7"
Color: Cream/Off-White

Curious to know about the source of the bone?

In India and Nepal, not much is wasted. So instead of just eating the meat of an animal, every part of the animal is used: bones for things like beads, hides/hair for clothing and accessories and talismans, and the meat is consumed.

The making of these beads and pendants provides a livelihood for families in remote villages in Nepal and India, which we are honored to support and share with you.
