Detail & Features
These incredible beads are true beauties, and with history too. Dating back as early as 1915, these beads were made in the Czech Republic. They are called Uranium Glass beads, as they were made with Uranium Salts.
This listing is for 3 loose red beads, in the most beautiful shade; they truly seem to glow. Generally, these beads were traded into and around the African continent, and have become highly collectible due to their intrinsic beauty, history, and scarcity.
The size varies slightly as they are handmade, but they are approximately 15.5 x 11mm.
The holes are approximately 2mm.
These beads are old. They do show some chips on some of the edges, and some of the facets are worn down, but this is part of their beauty, and attests to their age. African beads have such mystery attached to them; they have been worn for decades, travelled continents, and will be around for hundreds of years into the future. Be a part of the mystery and let these beads grace you with their presence.
