How cool are these beads?! Called Glass Snake Vertebrae because of the way they interlock like a snake's backbone. Zig-zag in shape, these beads are like little puzzle pieces. Very popular this season with all of the tribal-chic and african fashion trends!This listing is for 1 strand, randomly selected from the bunch shown here, in a beautiful purpl-ish dusty rose and navy blue. Beads measure approximately 9x4mm, with about a 3mm, hole. The strand is strung in a loop, they way they are traditionally strung, approximately 28" long (24" of beads with 4" of white string at the top). Approximately 150 beads per strand.
You will receive a strand that is the same color palette as these. The pattern will vary from strand to strand, as you can see in the photos.
These beads are old; they do show some dirt and minor chips on some of the edges, but this is part of their beauty, and attests to their age. African beads have such mystery attached to them; they have been worn for decades, travelled continents, and will be around for hundreds of years into the future.
