Detail & Features
There is something timelessly alluring about the beautiful blue of Indigo. Called "the color that seduced the world," Indigo is prominent in many African textiles. This beautiful cloth is vintage, from Burkina Faso.
Beautifully hand-dyed, and made of 8 strips of cloth that have been stitched together, this cloth would be beautiful as a wall hanging, or would be great for other decorating projects. The pattern on this one is so incredibly intricate and detailed.
This cloth is in beautiful vintage condition, except for one place where the seam is split; this could easily be stitched back together.
I have not washed this cloth since it has been in my possession, but it does not smell too musty like a lot of these cloths do. You can wash these by hand, or on gentle cycle, and line dry.
Textile measures 38.5" wide x 57" long.
I have lots of other textiles. Click here to shop.
