This beautifully rich and textured paper is completely handmade from recycled ingredients in India. It has a rich crinkled, leather-like texture. It is eco-friendly in that no trees are cut in the process. How beautiful is that?!
All-natural materials are used in the process, including cotton rag waste.
Each sheet measures 25x30".
The process: First cotton rags and other natural materials are chopped into very fine pieces. Then the mixture is beaten to break down the fibers, and then mixed with water, so that a pulp is created. Soap and alum are added to the mixture to create the right consistency. Then the pulp is transferred to wooden and wire mesh frames, to make individual sheets. The final part of the process is the coloring of the paper, which is done using all-natural dyes.
As you can see, each piece will vary in texture and color. This is the beauty of this handmade supply.

This paper will ship rolled in a tube. Because of its size, for International orders, it has to ship Priority Mail. So the shipping is higher than I would like, sorry! It's a better deal for you to buy several sheets of paper and pay the combined shipping charge!
