Rainbow in color, these traditional mala counters come from Kathmandu, Nepal. Complete with multi-colored rainbow nylon tassels and gold brass counter beads, a Dorje on one counter, and a Bell on the other.
Traditionally strung on the sides of a mala, as a tool to count the number of times one has gone around the mala, reciting a mantra.
Make your own meditation, make your own magic with these. Why not use them in your jewelry-making projects, or as other forms of adornment?
The Buddhist Dorje symbol that is on one counter, symbolizes compassion. The bell on the other counter symbolizes the wisdom that realizes the emptiness. Both are needed to attain enlightenment.
You will receive 2 counters. Each one measures 6". Each counter has 9 counter beads. The counter beads ares strung on a red looped cord, that you can loop and tie onto things. The tassels at the bottom are a rainbow of colors.
