These pink and brown-ish colored disc beads are made in India, from buffalo bone (cruelty-free) that has been carved with a tribal striped pattern. Great as spacer beads in natural, earthy, and yoga style jewelry. The coloring on these is quite unusual and could easily pair with brights or darks.

In India and Nepal, not much is wasted. So instead of just eating the meat of an animal, every part of the animal is used: bones for things like beads, hides/hair for clothing and accessories and talismans, and the meat is consumed.
