These beads are old, though I'm not sure how old. Some strands do have an occasional light-pink bead mixed In. Some have more of a silvery finish than others. They do show some minor dirt and minor chips on some of the edges, but this is part of their beauty, and attests to their age. African beads have such mystery attached to them; they have been worn for decades, travelled continents, and will be around for hundreds of years into the future.
