These beads are called Tomato Beads because their shape resembles that of a tomato. Milky in color, they are somewhere between translucent and opaque. These beads are great for wearing as-is, or cutting apart and making your own magic.
These rare beauties were made as early as the 1900's in Venice. Traded into Africa, specifically Ethiopia, they have seen decades of wear, traveled many continents, and will be around for hundreds of years to come.
