13 Tips for Attending The Eras Tour

Congrats - you survived "The Great War" with Ticketmaster & you're going to the Eras Tour to see Taylor Swift! But, now what?!...
WomanShopsWorld Studio Manager, Sandra, went to Atlanta Night 3 and had the time of her life! She came home with beautiful memories, a slightly froggy voice, & a load of tips to share with YOU!!
Without further ado, here are her 13 tips for attending the Eras Tour:

1. Make the friendship bracelets
Swifties were trading friendship bracelets alllll over in line & also inside the stadium. It was such a fun icebreaker to meet people & create even more amazing memories!

Bonus - take a pic with your new friends & the bracelets you've traded, to better cement the memory!

2. Get sparkly
Pile on all the glitter, rhinestones, tinsel, & sparkles you can gather, because there's no such thing as too much here!

3. Wear comfortable shoes
Taylor performs for a full 3+ hours! Dancing/standing/bouncing on a concrete floor takes its toll on feet & legs!

If high heels or sparkly boots are your jam, wear what makes you feel good!  My bestie wore 4 inch heels & was about to Shake It Off the whole time! On the flip side, I wore supportive (& bejeweled!) Dr Scholl's, but still ended up taking a couple sitting breaks during Era transitions.

4. Bring a charger
You're going to want to take tons of pics & vids at the stadium! I brought a portable charger, but I saw quite a few clever Swifties utilizing outlets at the stadium too!

5. Eat a hearty meal
Your body is going to need all the fuel it can get to dance & sing for 3 hours. Eat a big, nourishing meal before you head to the stadium. There are plenty of vendors once you get inside for snacks, but you might not be able to source a proper meal.

6. Hydrate
Stadiums get toasty with over 60k feral Swifites bopping along to their fearless leader for over 3 hours! Don't risk dehydration & being uncomfortable for a moment of this epic evening. Trust me... your body will thank you for it!

7. Screenshot a copy of the setlist
Since you'll be hydrated (re: tip 4), it's convenient to check for an upcoming bathroom break opportunity. Having a screenshot will make it easier to access when the networks get overloaded from 70,000 people using their devices at the same venue!

Pro Tip 1 - the transitions between Eras are more extensive than other artists, and they make for excellent potty/ refreshment breaks.

Pro Tip 2 - if you're avoiding setlist spoilers, pass this task to your concert buddy, and ask them to check for you.

8. Use ear plugs
The crowd gets LOUD! There were several people covering their ears at different points in the evening, when the decibel level got super intense. I used these magical Loop ear plugs for a few hearing breaks - they filter out background noise without interfering with the music whatsoever.

9. Use throat drops
Again, the cheering & singing takes a toll, and not just on your ears! My friends & I used Ricola drops throughout the evening. They saved us from totally losing our voices, which started to crack after crossing the first bridge of the evening - IYKYK!

10. Get a pair of light refraction glasses
The lights look SO cool through these & you can take super interesting video/photos through them too! There are even heart refraction glasses that turned every light, including the bracelets, into neon hearts *swoon*

11. Decorate your clear bag
With the whole place dressed to the nines, don't let your stadium approved bag bring you down. Add ribbon, tassels, beads, patches, etc to show your Style

12. Buy merch in advance, or online
The lines inside the stadium were INSANE! People were waiting for hours to get merch, so my group opted to gamble for a future online drop.

If you have your heart set on a specific item, I recommend securing it in advance if possible. There is a merch truck outside of the venue each night, and the line during the concert is almost nonexistent.

13. Have fun!
We can agree that there's a *lot* to remember & an infinite amount of tips out there that have helped other concert-goers! But it all comes down to having YOUR best Eras Era. When you look back on this night, and allll the beautiful moments that come with being be a part of the most spectacular performance of our time, nothing beats the magic you’ll make!!
