These beautiful beads are made from stained cow bone. They are a beautifully rich oxblood and black; due to the natural dye process, some of the beads have splotchy places and texture to their color. These beads would make beautiful spacers in earthy-girl jewelry.25+/-" long strand, individual bone measure 8x6mm each. Hole measures approximately 1.5mm. These are strung in a loop, with counters on either side, and a tassel in the front, the way they are traditionally strung in India.
