Detail & Features
These rare and beautiful beads are made from large Rudraksha seeds. Hailing from Nepal, Rudraksha seeds are traditionally used as prayer beads in Hinduism. They are the seeds of the Rudraksha tree, and legend has it that when Lord Shiva awoke from a long meditation, he shed a tear; from this tear grew the Rudraksha tree.
Rudraksha have clefts on their surface, that create small ridges. Each of these ridges is known as a face, or "mukhi." Rudraksha have different healing powers based upon the number of Mukhi that they have. These are 6 Mukhi seeds, which are believed to strengthen artistic qualities, wisdom, and learning.
