These metallic beauties are vintage celluloid sequins from Belgium (see the beautifully aged tag). They are somewhere between 60-100 years old, and were made up until World War II.
These strands are a mixture of colors: rich red, gold, blue, and green. Look at how beautifully the light shines through them when you look at them stacked on the side, yet they are shiny and metallic on their flat surface.
They measure 6mm in diameter.
