Faux Coral Red Discs Beads, 12mm Speckled Bone Spacer BeadsWomanShopsWorld
These red speckled disc beads perfectly imitate natural coral, or spiny oyster shell. A great shape and color for creating beachy and western style jewelry, these would also be a perfect accent to Turquoise. Made in India, from cow bone (cruelty-free) these 12mm heishi beads are perfect for bracelets and spacer beads.
The red color is mottled, so there are white-ish and brown-ish specks in the coloring. This gives the beads a great visual texture.
These beads measure 12mm and have a nice slightly-larger hole on them (approximately 2mm), so they would work on smaller cord or twine.

Curious to know about the source of the bone?
In India and Nepal, not much is wasted. So instead of just eating the meat of an animal, every part of the animal is used: bones for things like beads, hides/hair for clothing and accessories and talismans, and the meat is consumed.
The making of these beads and pendants provides a livelihood for families in remote villages in Nepal and India, which we are honored to support and share with you.
A portion of all WSW sales will be donated to The Compassion Collective, which works to feed, clothe, shelter, and save our refugee and homeless sisters, brothers, and children in the US and worldwide.
