White Heart beads have been made in the Czech Republic (Bohemia) for hundreds of years. Like many Czech beads, White Hearts (Cornaline D'Aleppo's) were traded into Africa and became an important part of the African bead trade.
These beads are strung in a loop the way they are traditionally strung in Africa. They are great for wearing as-is, or for cutting apart and making your own magic.
If you do wear them as-is, please keep in mind that repeated exposure to water will weaken the raffia twine.
A portion of all WSW sales will be donated to The Compassion Collective, which works to feed, clothe, shelter, and save our refugee and homeless sisters, brothers, and children in the US and worldwide.
