Antique Green Hebron Beads: African Glass, Graduated Strand, 48 pcsWoman Shops World
These green vintage glass beads are made in Hebron and they have such a great shape and a large hole! These would be great for stringing on leather/other cords or can be worn as is!
The beads vary in size, ranging from about 13x10mm to 22x16mm, with about a 6mm hole.
These beads are strung in a loop on a rafia, the way they are traditionally strung in Africa. You get about 23" of beads, with another 4" of raffia at the top. The total strand is approximately 27" long, with about 45 beads.
These beads are green with some shades of brown mixed in as they are vintage and as unique as snowflakes. These beads are old. They do show some chips on some of the edges, and some of the facets are worn down, but this is part of their beauty, and attests to their age.
African beads have such mystery attached to them; they have been worn for decades, travelled continents, and will be around for hundreds of years into the future. Be a part of the mystery and let these beads grace you with their presence.
