Detail & Features

The Evil Eye is an ancient symbol hailing from Greece, but found in cultures around the world; it is believed to ward off evil onlookers, bad juju, and bad luck. In many cultures they are worn as amulets or good luck charms and are believed to bring the wearer happiness, luck, health, and good fortune.

Each pendant is handmade; the pattern and coloration may vary slightly.

The Mother of Pearl on the outer edge of the evil eye has a lovely sheen to it. The turquoise and onyx eye in the center of the eye is a beautiful and powerful focal point.

Each pendant is handcrafted in Nepali Silver with beautifully detailed repousse work. There are swirling floral-esque designs on the back of the pendant, as well.  There is a 10mm large bail that has dotted engravings on the front and back of the bail.

This would be beautiful strung in natural, bohemian inspired jewelry.

We travel directly to Nepal to hand-select all of our Nepali jewelry making supplies. We work with small-scale, family-run businesses, most of whom have been crafting these pieces for generations. We sit in the tiny little shoebox of a shop and look at their new designs, while sipping tea, and choose our favorites. It's pretty magical. Purchasing these goods helps us support them in their handmade, traditional craft.
